About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Academic Support Specialist. As a key member of the academic support team, your primary responsibilities will include assisting students with their academic needs, developing academic skills, and processing Academic Misconduct cases according to established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing student's academic needs and devising learning plans to support them in achieving their study goals.
  • Providing workshops to students to enhance their awareness of academic integrity and improve their academic skills.
  • Processing Academic Misconduct cases according to policy and procedure.
  • Attending academic support team meetings and reporting to the team leader.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Referring students to relevant internal support services as needed.
  • Providing data and metrics to the team leader for required reporting regarding academic support services.
  • Collaborating with other team members to achieve common goals.
  • Participating in quality improvement processes and responding to feedback from students and staff.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Previous experience working with students from diverse backgrounds is highly valued.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mastery of English language (native level)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
