We are seeking an exceptional Executive Producer of Indigenous Media to join our NITV team. This exciting opportunity will enable you to play a key role in shaping the narrative of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

As Executive Producer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality content that reflects the unique perspectives and experiences of Indigenous Australians. You will work closely with our talented team to develop innovative programming that celebrates the richness and diversity of Indigenous culture.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing content strategies that align with SBS's values and goals
  • Collaborating with producers, directors, and writers to create engaging and informative content
  • Mentoring and guiding a team of producers to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs
  • Fostering relationships with Indigenous communities and stakeholders to ensure cultural accuracy and authenticity

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years' experience in television production, preferably in a leadership or executive producer capacity
  • Excellent understanding of Indigenous Australian culture and community needs
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team

In return for your expertise and passion, we offer a competitive salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes benefits such as flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a comprehensive employee assistance program.
