
Clinical Governance Specialist

About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly skilled individual to implement, monitor and evaluate quality standards within our organisation. This involves providing clinical governance in designated work areas, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing processes that identify, avoid or minimize risks to patients, staff and visitors. This includes collaborating with senior leaders to develop and implement effective risk mitigation initiatives.
- Maintenance of accurate and secure records related to patient safety and clinical incident investigations is also a key responsibility. The individual must ensure compliance with legislative standards and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- In addition, the role requires contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of quality patient safety and risk mitigation initiatives. This involves supporting business units in developing and monitoring patient safety initiatives, analyzing data trends and producing reports for senior management.
- The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Registered Nurse applicants must hold current registration with AHPRA and a valid annual practicing certificate. Administration Officer applicants do not require mandatory qualifications but relevant qualifications are highly desirable.
