Lead Quality and Governance Expert

Ensure high-quality care across multiple healthcare sites, with a focus on quality and safety. Take ownership of clinical governance systems to drive accountability throughout the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of a standardised Clinical Governance Framework. Ensure full compliance with national health service standards and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in mental health, addiction care, residential, or aged care settings. Proven expertise in policy development, risk management, and clinical audits is essential. Inspirational leadership skills and experience coaching multidisciplinary teams are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Group-wide Clinical Governance framework.
  • Ensure compliance with National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
  • Implement robust systems for incident reporting, complaints management, risk registers, audits, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with HR to develop staff orientation, education, and mandatory competencies.
  • Provide leadership in risk management, incident reviews, and accreditation readiness.
  • Attend site and group quality committees to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
