About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team at Kapooka, Wagga Wagga NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the coordination and execution of LAND 2110 group-based training.


The role involves reviewing, developing, and producing approved Learning Management Packages (LMPs) and associated course products when required. You will also be maintaining physical baselines for training artefacts and assisting in the development of user Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for new software and hardware.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the coordination and execution of LAND 2110 group-based training
  • Review, develop, and produce approved LMPs and associated course products
  • Maintain physical baselines for training artefacts
  • Develop user SOPs for new software and hardware
  • Carry out inspections and operator-level repair on current CBRND equipment
  • Provide recommendations and improvements to delivery methods and techniques
  • Value add to the team and provide constructive feedback to assist in professional development
  • Comply with relevant approved alcohol and drug testing policy for Safety Critical Area operations
  • Be prepared to travel from your Home base to provide support to other training activities as part of the larger Training team within Australia


Requirements:

The successful applicant must be an Australian Citizen and hold or be able to obtain an AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.


Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a proactive approach with the ability to understand our mission, identify issues, and foster strong relationships with our customer to achieve the company's objectives.


You will have great experiences in training delivery and development, demonstrated experience with performance management and trainee mentorship, and demonstrated an ability to plan and execute individual specialist and small group collective training in Military or First Responder CBRND competencies.
