The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Training Specialist to join our Technical Training team. As an Electrical Training Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment in the classroom and workplace environments, post-training Verification of Competency (VOCs), and the reporting of outcomes. In line with training plans, relevant service level agreements, organisational training matrices, national training packages, or training outcomes required by the network business.

You will contribute to the ongoing development of training/assessment resources, programming of work, and compliance with Registered Training Organisation (RTO) requirements in line with ASQA (SNRs).

About You

You will ideally be an outgoing, people-focused, and dynamic individual who is passionate about the industry and invested in best practice. You will need an understanding of Australian Skills Authority (ASQA), State Training Services, Vocational Education and Training (VET) contractual RTO/training function, and other regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Work Cover NSW Construction Induction Certificate
  • Certificate III ESI - Distribution, Cable Jointing, or Electrotechnology qualification
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
  • Senior First Aid
  • Driver's Licence

Desirable

  • Cert IV in Frontline Management or equivalent
  • EWP
  • Dogging
  • Forklift
