About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Wagga Wagga. As a Child Development Specialist, you will work collaboratively with families and other professionals to provide play-based learning environments that support the developmental needs of children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with stakeholders
  • SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENTAL NEEDS OF CHILDREN THROUGH OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY INTERVENTIONS
  • Administering and scoring assessments
  • Report writing and providing feedback to families
  • Working independently and as part of a team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian recognised tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
  • Meticulous time management and organisation skills
  • A current drivers' license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle
  • A Senior First Aid Certificate
  • A Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain
  • A Medicare Provider number or willingness to obtain
