Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Wagga Wagga. As a Child Development Specialist, you will work collaboratively with families and other professionals to provide play-based learning environments that support the developmental needs of children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with stakeholders
- SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENTAL NEEDS OF CHILDREN THROUGH OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY INTERVENTIONS
- Administering and scoring assessments
- Report writing and providing feedback to families
- Working independently and as part of a team
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Australian recognised tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
- Meticulous time management and organisation skills
- A current drivers' license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle
- A Senior First Aid Certificate
- A Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain
- A Medicare Provider number or willingness to obtain
