Landscape Leading Hand / Bobcat Operator

Our company is seeking an experienced Landscape Leading Hand / Bobcat Operator to join our growing team.

This role offers a four-day work week with regular overtime opportunities and nearly every weekend off.

Working primarily on new housing developments across South West Brisbane, you will be responsible for site preparation, soft landscaping, and operating machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and level sites for residential builders landscaping projects.
  • Operate Bobcats and other machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Perform soft landscaping tasks including garden edging, mulching, planting, laying turf, and paving.
  • Allocate tasks and supervise team members to meet project deadlines.
  • Order and collect materials for job sites.
  • Assist with manual landscaping tasks when required.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2 years in soft landscaping and 1 year operating Bobcats.
  • Licences & Qualifications:
    • Medium Rigid (MR) licence (required).
    • Construction White Card.
    • Bobcat ticket (preferred but not essential).
    • Current driver's licence with reliable vehicle access.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Punctual, reliable, and hardworking.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
