{"About the Opportunity": "We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Coordinator to lead our Engineering Services team in Capel, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and managing the development and implementation of strategies for municipal infrastructure and capital works projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide technical advice and manage the development and implementation of strategies for municipal infrastructure and capital works projects
* Oversee infrastructure maintenance programs, including funding, quality control, and compliance with relevant standards
* Manage contract procurement, contractor performance, and compliance for infrastructure projects
* Liaise with stakeholders to ensure successful project management, strategic direction, and strong relationships
* Support the Manager of Engineering & Works in decision-making and engineering matters
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives and the development of policies, procedures, and technical documents for Engineering Services

Requirements:

* Significant experience in local government, particularly in civil engineering or a related discipline, with a focus on infrastructure projects and capital works
* Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering
* Previous supervisory or leadership experience
* Experience in civil construction
* Strong knowledge of local government regulations and Australian standards
* Competency in using engineering software (e.g., Auto CAD, Civil CAD)
* Advanced Worksite Traffic Management accreditation
* Proficiency in engineering project management
* Experience in contract management, procurement, and dealing with contractors
* Knowledge of asset management and infrastructure planning

* Competitive annual salary of $95,000 - $100,000
