Lead Entertainment Editor Position

We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced entertainment editor to spearhead our entertainment coverage.

About The Role:
  • The ideal candidate will own and drive the entertainment vertical, deciding our editorial coverage across celebrity news, reality TV, films, and television shows.
  • Key responsibilities include strategizing, planning, and executing high-quality content around key celebrity access opportunities, managing analytics to inform editorial decisions, and overseeing the commissioning of entertainment content from freelance writers.
  • The successful candidate will be charismatic on camera, have a strong online presence, and possess excellent writing skills with a distinct voice that matches our tone.
  • A black book of industry contacts is an advantage, but not required.
About You:
  • You have proven experience as an Entertainment Editor or Senior Writer seeking new challenges.
  • Your knowledge of pop culture is encyclopaedic, and you live and breathe reality TV, celebrity couples, feuds, and indie films.
  • You are a skilled writer with a unique voice, comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • You are well-versed in using analytics to make informed editorial decisions and have a strong understanding of social media trends.
