Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead our team in delivering high-profile projects across various sectors.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated professional to take on a leadership role and drive project success through strategic cost management and commercial advice.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with experience in cost planning, tender reviews, and value engineering.

As a seasoned professional, you will be expected to mentor junior team members, develop strong client relationships, and provide expert commercial guidance to ensure project efficiency and financial control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead pre- and post-contract cost management services across a diverse portfolio of major projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic commercial advice to drive business growth.
  • Oversee the preparation of cost plans, estimates, tender reviews, and value engineering studies to optimize project outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor a team of quantity surveyors and cadets to ensure their professional development and success.
  • Provide commercial oversight and reporting to stakeholders, ensuring financial control and project efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in quantity surveying, with a consultancy background preferred.
  • Proven leadership in cost management and client-facing delivery, with a strong track record of project success.
  • Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, with AIQS, RICS, or equivalent professional membership (or working toward).
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management expertise.
