Clinical Support and Development Role
The Ward 2F is seeking a motivated and experienced nurse in neuroscience or acute care nursing to take on a clinical leadership role. As a Clinical Support and Development Specialist, you will be actively involved in developing and supporting nurses to deliver comprehensive quality patient care.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking to take their career to the next level and enjoy the challenge of working in a dynamic team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities- Clinical Nursing Practice
Demonstrate excellence in clinical nursing practice and act as a role model consistent with the values, standards, and policies of the Nursing Division.
Fostering Reflective PracticeFoster a culture of reflective practice by creating learning opportunities that assist staff in identifying and challenging assumptions.
Developing Innovative PracticesFacilitate nurses to link theory and practice by participating in clinical audits and other quality activities.
Leadership and CommunicationDemonstrate leadership qualities and behaviours such as vision, openness, flexibility, and integrity while communicating and modelling the values of the organization and the Nursing Division.
Requirements- Qualifications and Experience
Current Registered Nurse Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, extensive relevant clinical experience in neuroscience or acute care nursing, and postgraduate qualifications in neurosciences or management.
Police Checks and Working With Children CheckCurrent and satisfactory Police Check and Working With Children Check.
