Clinical Support Specialist

About the Role
Alfred Health is seeking a motivated and experienced nurse in neuroscience or acute care nursing to join our team as a Clinical Support and Development Specialist. This is a clinical leadership role that involves developing and supporting nurses to deliver comprehensive quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement clinical education programs to enhance nursing practice and patient outcomes
- Collaborate with nursing staff to identify and address clinical practice gaps and areas for improvement
- Provide coaching and mentoring to nurses to enhance their clinical skills and confidence
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to support high-quality patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Extensive relevant clinical experience in neuroscience or acute care nursing and in a clinical leadership role
- Postgraduate qualifications in neurosciences or management; or working towards an equivalent qualification
- Current and satisfactory Police Check and Working With Children Check
