About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Advanced Nursing Practitioner on our Neuroscience unit at Healthscope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes through effective leadership and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with VMO partners, utilizing exceptional customer service skills to deliver efficient and effective care.
- Provide strategic direction for the unit, ensuring seamless management by coordinating evidence-based nursing care.
- Exercise accountability for the daily management of human, financial, and material resources, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives, promoting excellence in patient care.
- Prioritize direct patient care as required, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Essential Criteria:
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- 5+ years of acute Neuroscience nursing experience.
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field or willingness to pursue one.
- Previous ANUM or Clinical Nurse Specialist experience (desirable).
- Solid clinical knowledge and compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to model positive behaviors.
- Excellent customer service focus, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and possess high computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and various databases.
Compensation Package:
The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, reflecting the advanced responsibilities and requirements. This includes a base salary plus superannuation, which aligns with industry standards.
