Administrative Support Role

This role requires a highly organised and efficient individual to provide administrative support to the Emergency Department at Nepean Hospital.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage medical staff rosters, ensuring optimal coverage for planned and unplanned leave.
  • Liaise with multiple departments to compile daily rosters, maintain accurate records in Patienteer, and ensure compliance with employment conditions and award provisions.
  • Manage locum placements, process timesheets, monitor overtime, and escalate staffing deficits as needed.
  • Work closely with the JMO Unit, Nurse Manager, and medical leadership to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide effective and professional administrative support, in confidence and with discretion.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with management and staff at all levels.
  • Confident and proactive in learning new online tools and software, including the proficient use of MS Office Suite.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to research information to resolve or escalate matters as they arise.
