The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aircraft maintenance operations or a similar role, along with strong leadership skills and relevant qualifications.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Managing a multidisciplined team providing various services to support aircraft maintenance">
  • Successfully managing maintenance support functions efficiently and cost-effectively">
  • Ensuring all team members understand and comply with OH&S, environmental, and other statutory obligations">
  • Overseeing procurement and maintenance of tooling and ground support equipment inventories">
  • Driving cost control initiatives and identifying commercial opportunities within the maintenance support function">

The successful candidate will possess:

  • ">
  • Extensive experience in aircraft maintenance operations or a similar role">
  • Strong leadership background, ideally in line and/or base maintenance environments">
  • Tertiary qualifications in aviation management (or equivalent experience)">
  • Solid understanding of CASA and EASA airworthiness requirements">
  • Commercial mindset with experience in resource planning and cost control">
  • Strong people management, change management, communication, and influencing skills">
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills">
  • Current state driver's licence and ability to hold an ASIC">
  • APAM Level 2 driver's licence">
