Aircraft Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance professional to join our Brisbane Engineering Team.

Job Summary:

Cathay Pacific is looking for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance specialist to perform maintenance on Cathay Pacific and third-party aircrafts, ensuring a high level of safety, reliability, security, and presentation.

  • Perform aircraft maintenance under supervision of the Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or Assistant Engineer Manager
  • Monitor third-party supplier performance and rectify operational issues in a timely manner
  • Support contingency plans and ad hoc operational requirements
  • Provide high-level customer service
  • Ensure compliance with local Occupational Health & Safety standards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance / Engineering
  • Experience with wide-body aircraft types, including B787, B777, A350, A330, A380, and B747-8 Freighter aircrafts
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and high-level accuracy is imperative
  • Sensitivity to diverse cultures and personalities
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Proven ability to operate effectively with limited information and work independently
  • Ability to work safely under time pressure
