About the Scheduling Officer Role

The Scheduling Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring that client needs are met by building strong relationships with staff and clients, and then rostering accordingly to provide a high-quality service.

This involves allocating staff appropriately to meet client needs, communicating directly with our Support Workers, clients, and families to inform them of any roster and staffing changes.

Key responsibilities include prioritising and managing workload within a busy environment, developing strong relationships with staff and clients to ensure their needs are met, communicating effectively with all stakeholders, including staff, clients and families, and problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements for this role include a passion for helping and supporting those who are living with a disability and are vulnerable, previous experience in prioritising and managing workload within a busy environment, strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
