Our company is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead our quality control efforts in an optical device manufacturing environment.

As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will oversee the inspection and testing of incoming components, in-process assemblies, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate staffing needs and fill critical inspection positions
  • Supervise, evaluate, and develop a team of quality inspectors through competency testing, periodic evaluation, and goal setting
  • Inspect, test, and document status of incoming components, in-process assemblies, and finished goods
  • Manage quality records related to inspection, test, and verification activities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve non-conformances and disposition material
  • Oversee and maintain inspection equipment calibrations and calibration records
  • Ensure implementation of and adherence to all quality control procedures and standards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Control, with 3+ years in a tight-tolerance or technical manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in Quality Control in a tight-tolerance/technical field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality teams
