Senior Opto-Mechanical Systems Lead

We are seeking a seasoned expert in opto-mechanical design to lead the development of precision optical systems.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, analyzing, and integrating opto-mechanical assemblies for complex optical applications.
  • He or she will provide strategic guidance on Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Assembly (DFA), and Test (DFT) to support product innovation efforts.
  • This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interface requirements and ensure cohesive product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop innovative mechanical solutions that meet optical, thermal, and structural requirements.
  2. Lead the design, analysis, and integration of precision opto-mechanical assemblies.
  3. Provide technical expertise to support product development from ideation to launch.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in opto-mechanical design and development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical delivery of opto-mechanical products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or medical device industries.
