Job Overview:

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering educational programs to achieve specific student outcomes.

This involves direct teaching of groups of students and individual students, as well as contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school.

The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, colleagues and the broader school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching of literacy and numeracy skills;
  • Planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies;
  • Evaluating the impact of learning and teaching programs on student learning growth;
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress;
  • Providing feedback on student learning growth and achievement to students and parents;
  • Participating in ongoing professional development programs.
