Neonatal Ward Clerk Role

Monash Health offers a unique opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Ward Clerk to join our dynamic team in the Neonatal Unit.
This role requires exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle phone calls and face-to-face interactions with professionalism and courtesy.
About the PositionAs a Ward Clerk, you will be responsible for providing a welcoming environment for families and visitors.
You will work closely alongside nursing, medical, and allied health staff to provide support and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent communication with all members internal and external to the unit
- Support and take direction from the Associate Nurse Manager and Nurse Manager
- Assist in the management of the Breast Pump Hire service and Discharge Summary management
The successful candidate will have efficient computer skills, including knowledge and experience of Monash Health administration systems.
Punctuality and professional presentation are essential.
Previous experience working as a Ward Clerk in a hospital setting is highly valued.
