**Ward Clerk**
- Support 2 wards in the afternoon with clerical support
- Busy, high turnover wards, make an impact on patient care
- Fixed Term 1 year contract, with a possibility of extension
- 7 South East and 7 South West are 2 high activity wards, co-located at the Royal Melbourne, specialising in trauma, orthopaedics, reconstructive plastic surgery and head and neck oncology. The activity on the ward has increased and we are searching for another Ward Clerk to support the nursing teams on the afternoon shifts.**Your new role**:

- Administration support to the nursing leadership teams of 7 South East and 7 South West
- First point of contact for visitors - directing them where the patient is that they are visiting
- Assisting with patient flow by organising relevant transport options, organising discharge packs, admitting and discharging patients from our systems
