Job Description:Position:

This role is pivotal in our commitment to improving the support, supervision and development of ward clerks across the organisation.

This part-time position will provide a central resource to manage clerk issues and initiatives, supervise the senior ward clerk team, and allocate their work in collaboration with clinical programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise ward clerks.
  • Develop and implement strategies for clerk performance and development.
  • Collaborate with clinical programs to allocate work and coordinate clerk activities.
Key Requirements:Essential:
  • Experience in managing or supervising others.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical practice.
Desirable:
  • Relevant degree or certificate iii in business administration (or equivalent).
  • Experience in patient administration systems.
  • Previous experience/education in supervising and/or training staff.
