About the Role:
The Senior Service Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operational activities of the Service Team are achieved to a high standard through focusing on safety, clear and positive communication, quality assurance checks and documentation, workflow processes and procedures, contamination control, cost control, technician utilization, employee management, continuous improvement, and daily job reporting and updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Service Team to achieve operational excellence
- Develop and implement effective workflow processes and procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality assurance standards
- Manage technician utilization and employee performance
- Implement cost control measures and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide clear and positive communication to customers and personnel
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting and updates
Requirements:
- Trade qualifications (Electrical Fitter, Auto Electrician, or Diesel Mechanic)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proven ability to implement OH&S practices and quality assurance standards
- Good technical experience on Komatsu product range
- Good understanding of Komatsu systems and processes
- Leadership skills and experience
- Good understanding of how a service department operates
- Must understand warranty guidelines and processes
- Proven experience leading work groups
- Customer service orientation
