Are you passionate about enhancing post-stroke aphasia care through evidence translation and implementation?
- This role involves coordinating and managing a medical research project aimed at improving the lives of people with aphasia.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Research Management: Develop project documentation, maintain databases, monitor progress, and ensure compliance.
- Clinical Trial Supervision: Prepare regulatory documents, coordinate stakeholder engagement, manage participant recruitment, and prioritize patient safety.
- Leadership & Team Support: Mentor junior researchers, foster a positive team culture, and oversee project logistics as required.
To succeed in this position, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or a related health discipline, coupled with at least 4 years' relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and expertise.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical trial coordination, adhering to GCP and ethical standards.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical trials in Australia.
- A strong understanding of clinical rehabilitation principles, enabling effective collaboration with speech pathologists and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including adaptability for individuals with aphasia and other communication challenges.
