Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. As an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients with physical and psychological conditions to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.

This is a full-time opportunity that offers the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will have the support of a close-knit team of healthcare professionals with the backing of a global corporate infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with physical and psychological conditions
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Conducting vocational assessments to identify suitable job options and providing injury prevention and management services

You will be working across various schemes including workers compensation, third-party, life insurance, etc. Your clinical knowledge and skills will enable you to improve return to work outcomes for our clients.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Acceptance of applications with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and support for obtaining membership and supervision for full ASORC Membership
  • Current General or Provisional AHPRA registration or Full ASORC Membership
  • Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy
  • Strong time management skills
  • A current QLD Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
