Job DescriptionWe seek an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, supporting NDIS participants living in the Wollongong, Nowra & Caringbah region. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
Using your expertise and maturity, you will formulate treatment goals unique to each participant and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance their quality of life and meet their goals.
In addition to delivering timely therapeutic services, you will also mentor and nurture early career clinicians, maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services
- Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
- Mentor and nurture early career clinicians
- Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
