Speech and Language Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled speech and language therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at a neurological centre specialising in acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions.

About the Role
  • This is an opportunity for a motivated and experienced speech and language therapist to work as part of a dynamic team providing expert neurorehabilitation services to individuals with complex communication needs.
  • The successful applicant will have a degree in speech and language therapy, registration with the HCPC, and experience working within neurological settings.
  • You will be responsible for assessing and intervening with individuals with communication disorders, working collaboratively with colleagues to develop management plans and rehabilitation programs, and providing training to staff and service users' social networks.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Speech and Language Therapy from a recognised university
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Minimum 18 months qualified experience in working within relevant Neurological settings
  • Specialist knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy models and interventions in Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) e.g. social communication, cognitive communication, communication partner training
  • Able to manage Dysphagia within an adult Neurology caseload
