About the Role

This position is an advanced clinical role that provides emergent care in Residential Aged Care Facilities.

The successful candidate will have expertise in nursing practice and theory, particularly in geriatric nursing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality emergent clinical care to residents in line with the scope of a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Apply contemporary advanced nursing practice and theory to provide specialist knowledge in emergent and geriatric nursing.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Educate and inform patients and families about clinical information relevant to patient care.
  • Engage in quality improvement frameworks and nursing research to contribute to quality improvement activities.
Mandatory Requirements
  • A Registered Nurse qualification with Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Ability to meet credentialing requirements.
  • Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases.
