
Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist

A challenging role is available for a Registered Nurse with advanced clinical skills to provide emergent care in Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs).
The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced clinical skills, knowledge and capacity to translate evidence-based emergent clinical care for residents in RACFs.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality emergent clinical care in RACFs in line with NP scope and qualifications.
- Apply specialist knowledge of contemporary advanced nursing practice and theory in emergent and geriatric nursing; participate in delivery of clinical care.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships within a multidisciplinary team; contribute to learning and development of others.
- Educate, inform, counsel and support patients and families with contemporary clinical information relevant to patient care and understanding.
- Engage with quality improvement frameworks and nursing research to contribute to quality improvement activities.
- Maintain professional relationships with all members of the health service team.
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA and a current annual practising certificate.
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements of WMH.
