Position Summary
As the Conference & Events Coordinator, you will be instrumental in transforming event concepts into reality. Working in tandem with our centralized Conference & Events team, your responsibilities will include crafting detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), engaging with clients, and ensuring flawless execution by collaborating closely with the Food and Beverage team.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to comprehend event objectives, develop comprehensive event plans, and maintain adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Oversee the execution of various events, including corporate functions and weddings.
- Proactively identify and resolve any challenges that may arise during events, aiming for excellence.
- Coordinate all logistical aspects, including equipment, contractors, resources, and personnel involved in supporting the event.
- Uphold a polished and professional demeanor as a representative of our organization, ensuring a consistently high standard of service.
- Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in Food & Beverage service during less busy periods.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in event coordination and management, particularly in weddings and corporate events, is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional administrative skills and a keen eye for detail are essential.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and clients to negotiate favorable terms that benefit all parties.
- A proactive attitude with outstanding time management capabilities.
