Strategic Business Development Manager

The Senior Commercial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of major finance objectives as the organisation aims to continue its strong growth journey.
Reporting to a highly influential CFO and partnering closely with the executive leadership team, this position requires an exceptional commercial acumen and vision for growth.
- Support business strategies to add value beyond finance across a broad range of stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing strategic support, change management, transformation and efficiency improvements.
- Act as a true partner and 2IC to the CFO and Leadership Team.
- Business and Financial Strategy Support - Partner with the CFO and Leadership Team to support business strategy and financial direction;
- Financial Planning & Analysis – Manage and oversee the commercial planning and reporting function including budgeting, forecasting and annual planning process for the group ensuring strategic alignment to business objectives;
- Business Performance Analysis - Provide insights and build business acumen through analysis of data to support commercial decision making;
- Commercial Management - Drive risk & opportunity analysis, mix analysis, contract negotiation, trading terms, financial modelling and business cases;
- Growth, M&A and Deal Support - Provide advice and support across M&A, due diligence, business integrations and financial negotiations;
- Business Systems & Process Improvement - Spearhead improvements and best practise across finance transformation including new reporting, analytics, systems and processes;
- Stakeholder Relationship Management and Business Partnering Support – Establish collaborative cross functional relationships with sales, marketing and operations to meet business needs.
