Lead Digital Preservation Specialist

This is a key position in our organization's digital archives team where you will oversee the management of digital records and develop best-practice methodologies for their preservation.
Key Responsibilities- Oversight of digital preservation workflows and development of best-practice methodologies
- Operational implementation of digital preservation strategies, including policy development and resource management
- Investigation and recommendation of methodologies for sustainable and secure digital archiving
- Maintenance of expertise in digital preservation tools and provision of advanced support to teams
- Guidance to internal and external stakeholders on preservation formats and best practices
In this role, you will work closely with the team to ensure the long-term preservation of digital records and make recommendations for continuous process improvement.
