Lead Digital Preservation Specialist
">- We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our digital preservation efforts, ensuring the long-term accessibility and integrity of our permanent digital records.
The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing digital preservation workflows, as well as expertise in digital preservation strategies and tools. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate, recommend, and refine methodologies and practices for sustainable and secure digital archiving.
">As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing expertise in digital preservation tools and providing advanced support to colleagues. They will also provide guidance on preservation formats, metadata, transfers, and imaging best practices.
">Additionally, the Lead Digital Preservation Specialist will maintain statistics, prepare reports, and use data to inform program planning and continuous process improvement.
">Key Responsibilities:">- Develop and execute digital preservation workflows that meet collection, access, and user needs.
- Implement digital preservation strategies, including developing policies, work plans, resource management, and preservation priorities.
