About the Role

We're seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our People and Performance team in Queensland. As a key member of our leadership group, you'll play a critical role in supporting our diverse workforce across multiple sites, including processing, farming, distribution, and corporate teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic HR advice to stakeholders on employment relations, performance management, and people leadership.
  • Lead and support local enterprise agreement negotiations and foster positive union relationships.
  • Support leaders in managing employment relations matters, including conducting workplace investigations.
  • Coach and influence leaders to develop and sustain a constructive culture.
  • Support governance initiatives and standardize people processes.
  • Work with the broader P&P team to develop and execute strategic people initiatives.
  • Drive local implementation of people processes, including remuneration and performance reviews.
  • Contribute to the wider P&P team, fostering open communication and seeking feedback.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated business partnering experience in a large, complex operational environment.
  • Experience in applying workplace relations legislation and frameworks.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment, leading and assisting with negotiating Enterprise Agreements.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • High level of proficiency in advising on employee life cycles.
  • Ability to develop and implement new processes and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
