We are currently seeking an experienced Defence Project Coordination Specialist to join our client's team. This exciting opportunity will involve working on various defence-related projects, supporting project managers, and contributing to the success of the business.

Job Description

  • Supporting Project Managers: Provide assistance to project managers in establishing, maintaining, and ensuring compliance with Baseline System Standards across projects.">
  • Contract Administration: Assist project managers with contract administration duties, including providing support with tender processes, contract management, and dispute resolution.">
  • Budget Management: Work closely with project managers to manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide cost reporting.">
  • Project Coordination: Contribute to all phases of a project, from planning to delivery, where needed to support the team.">
  • Resource Management: Take responsibility for resources engaged in projects, liaising with senior management to ensure projects are appropriately resourced.">
  • Deliverables Management: Manage project deliverables in line with system standards and project outcomes.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • ">
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in contract administration or project engineering roles in the construction industry, preferably in the defence sector.">
  • Certification: Possession of a Construction General Induction (White Card) certification.">
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, such as Cert IV in Building and Construction.">
  • Licensing: Must be an Australian citizen to access Defence Bases.">
  • Personal Qualities: Strong ability to work in a diverse and multicultural team environment, with a passion for construction, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for learning and accepting new challenges.">
