House Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate leader to manage one of our Houses, providing a supportive environment for residents and staff.

This leadership role focuses on people, daily operations, and quality of life.

You will be the visible leader of a dedicated House, responsible for up to 40 residents and leading a team who support them each day.

The role operates within a collaborative model, working in close partnership with a Clinical Leader.

You will work collaboratively with other House Managers, support services, and your General Manager, with autonomy to lead your team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of your House, ensuring smooth functioning and high-quality care.
  • Lead and Support Staff: Lead, coach, and support a team of care and hospitality staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Build Relationships: Foster strong relationships with residents and their loved ones, prioritizing their needs and preferences.
  • Create a Positive Environment: Develop and maintain a welcoming atmosphere where residents feel valued and respected.
  • Support Activities: Organize and participate in individual and small group activities that promote purpose, joy, and social interaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven Leadership Experience: Demonstrate proven leadership skills and experience managing teams, with a focus on people development and empowerment.
  • Strong Communication and Organisation Skills: Possess excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Hands-on Leadership Style: Exhibit a hands-on, team-oriented leadership style, prioritising collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Deep Respect for Older People: Show a deep respect for older people and their right to live with dignity and choice, promoting person-centred care and support.
