Infrastructure Planning Leader
Job DescriptionThis position involves leading the planning of efficient, smart, high-performing and integrated water and wastewater assets. The role requires overseeing the planning of water and wastewater infrastructure for multiple towns.
The successful candidate will lead updates to a rolling 10-year Capital Program of works based on Master Plans and long-term financial models. They will provide engineering and technical advice on matters including development inquiries, proposed infrastructure, and alterations to North East Water assets or operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of planning engineers and engineering contractors to plan the water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Lead updates to a rolling 10-year Capital Program of works.
- Provide engineering and technical advice on proposed infrastructure works.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to develop and support teams.
- Advanced communication skills with the ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to undertake engineering analysis and provide technical advice.
