Job Title: Senior Program Delivery Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the assessment and treatment of offenders incarcerated or subject to community-based supervision.

The successful applicant will have experience in providing program supervision, delivering general and/or sexual offending programs, motivating and coaching others, community engagement, and key stakeholder liaison. They will also possess knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures, as well as conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Program Supervision: Provide guidance and oversight to ensure effective program delivery.
  • Assessment and Treatment: Develop and implement assessments and treatments for offenders to promote rehabilitation and reduce recidivism.
  • Community Engagement: Foster relationships with community groups, stakeholders, and special interest groups to promote offender rehabilitation and reintegration.
  • Legislation and Policy: Apply knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to inform program development and delivery.
Key Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, education, or behavioural sciences. Postgraduate studies in a related field and affiliation with a relevant professional association are highly regarded. Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to complete intensive training to deliver Queensland Corrective Services Offender Intervention programs.
