Production Frigate Fabricator Role

This role involves fabricating components for the world's most advanced Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigate. The successful candidate will have experience with fabrication using MIG or Flux Core Welding.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Undertake tasks and duties as directed by production supervision and/or trades trainers within bounds of current competence.
  • Attend and complete relevant on-the-job training as required.
  • Properly maintain materials, tools and equipment.
  • Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area.
  • Adhere to policies and management practices that ensure a safe working environment.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience with fabrication using MIG or Flux Core Welding.
  • Ability to read drawings and understand specifications.
  • Strong focus on safety and enhancing the site safety environment.
  • Strong time-keeping abilities and self-motivation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
