About You
  • You will possess 3+ years of post-admission experience in commercial law, preferably from top-tier or mid-tier firms.
  • Running your own matters and building strong relationships with local businesses will be key aspects of this position.
  • Familiarity with LEAP software and attending court appearances are desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and autonomy as well as teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting directly to the principal, you will work alongside one senior associate.
  • Commitment to developing your expertise and remaining proactive in matter intake is expected.
  • Autonomy and teamwork skills will be crucial in performing daily tasks efficiently.
  • Building client-lawyer relationships and liaising effectively with stakeholders will be essential.
  • Drafting business agreements, leasing agreements, property transaction documents and trust deeds will be key responsibilities.
  • Attendance at court appearances for litigious matters will also be required.
  • Employment law matters may arise during your tenure.
  • Maintaining confidentiality will be paramount in this role.
