About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor to join our team at Voith Group. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of hydro-turbines and related equipment at our sites.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in look-ahead planning and identify potential risks on schedule and detailed technical installation sequence.
  • Prepare measurement and inspection reports, and coordinate inspections with the site management team.
  • Program the laser tracker to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.
  • Conduct measurements according to Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and collect and analyze data obtained during measurements.
  • Identify deviations and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Support the team in overseeing the installation of hydro-turbines and related equipment at site.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma in Engineering Technology (Geomatic, Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Previous demonstrated experience in operating laser tracker equipment in the construction industry or similar industries.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and precise measurements.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
  • Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering strategic problem-solving solutions.
  • Proficiency in using measurement software and associated data analysis tools.
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment.

Site Conditions

You can expect a typical roster of days in, 7 days out, and a typical work schedule of hours per day, 7 days a week. Camp accommodation is provided.
