Site Supervisor (m|f|d) Laser Tracker

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing high-precision measurements on turbine-generator components and related equipment. You will also support the team in overseeing the installation of hydro-turbines and related equipment at site.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the planning process to identify potential risks and develop a detailed technical installation sequence.
  • Prepare measurement and inspection reports to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.
  • Coordinate inspections with the site management team members to ensure seamless execution.
  • Program the laser tracker to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.
  • Conduct measurements according to the Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Analyze data obtained during measurements to identify deviations and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Support the team in overseeing the installation of hydro-turbines and related equipment at site.

Your Profile

  • Diploma in Engineering Technology (Geomatic, Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Previous experience in operating laser tracker equipment in the construction industry or similar industries.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and precise measurements.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
  • Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering strategic problem-solving solutions.
  • Proficiency in using measurement software and associated data analysis tools.
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment.

Site Conditions

  • A typical roster of 14 days in, 7 days out.
  • A typical work schedule of 10 hours per day, 7 days a week.
  • Camp accommodation is provided.
