Senior Project Manager Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our NSW Projects team and deliver successful projects. In this role, you will oversee project delivery, ensure time, quality, and budget compliance, and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the NSW Projects team to deliver high-impact projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders through seamless communication and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee OHS compliance, ensuring safety standards are met across all sites.
  • Manage project risks and proactively resolve issues to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Drive high standards of governance, using effective business systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in delivering large-scale projects or capital expenditure programs.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build lasting connections with clients and contractors.
  • High-level financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and contract management.
  • Experience in OHS management on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project.
  • Leadership skills to manage a diverse team of professionals and subcontractors effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in OHS or extensive project management experience.
  • Current General Induction for the Construction Industry (White Card).
  • Graduate Diploma in Project Management or relevant trade qualification (e.g., carpentry, electrical, HVAC).
  • Bachelor's degree in construction, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
