
Community Social Work Professional

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced and qualified adult social worker to join our busy community team. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring an allocated workload within individual and group priorities, adhering to council policies and statutory obligations.
Main Responsibilities:- Social Work Delivery
- Assess the need for social work services, identify risks and the need for protection, determine intervention methods, and advise on appropriate social services and resources.
- Liaise and negotiate with other professionals, statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure the best possible service for clients.
- Administrative Support
- Maintain appropriate records of work undertaken and carry out required administrative procedures.
- Professional Development
- Prepare for and attend supervision sessions and staff meetings, and make use of all available training and development opportunities.
- A valid Social Work England registration
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- A full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work
