Project Evaluation Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead technical and commercial project evaluations for renewable energy projects, including solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and onshore wind initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assessing project risks that could impact financial models and proposing mitigation measures.

About the Role
  • Lead technical and commercial evaluation processes and reviews for renewable energy projects.
  • Analyze critical project aspects such as land acquisition, development permits, environmental constraints, project design, off-take agreements, grid connections, contracts, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to consolidate technical and commercial inputs into clear, concise client advice.
  • Provide construction and operational monitoring services, including owner's or lender's engineering work.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the renewables industry.
  • Proven track record in leading evaluation processes and technical reviews for renewable energy projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess the financial implications of technical risks.
