Job Description:

An exciting opportunity exists for an Evaluation Officer to join our team. This role involves providing monitoring and evaluation support to two major initiatives: the National Hepatitis B Health Promotion Campaign and the Eliminate Hepatitis C II partnership.

The successful candidate will provide monitoring and evaluation support, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, use mixed methodologies and co-design approaches to assess effectiveness and impact, contribute to research outputs, and support knowledge translation resources and publications.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide monitoring and evaluation support to two major initiatives
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Use mixed methodologies and co-design approaches
  • Develop and implement formal evaluation plans
  • Monitor campaign progress
  • Design, collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative data
  • Prepare ethics applications and manage participant recruitment
  • Liaise with stakeholders and represent the organization at project meetings, conferences and seminars

Qualifications and Skills:

The following criteria are essential requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, medicine or related discipline
  • Completed a relevant doctoral qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating health promotion programs and/or education campaigns with advertising
  • Strong experience in writing publications, conference papers, technical reports or professional contributions
  • Demonstrated ability to design, collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative research data
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to negotiate successful outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
