Buller operates an extensive snowmaking system, producing high-quality snow for extensive skiing terrain and various activities.

As a Snowmaker, you'll be responsible for delivering a vital product in a timely and safe manner. You'll need to be physically fit and an outdoor enthusiast, available to work long shifts, including night work, manual labor, and extreme weather conditions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating snow factories, fan guns, air/water guns, and snowmobiles safely and responsibly
  • Providing excellent skiing experiences through high-quality snow products
  • Following company policies and procedures, completing required documentation, and reporting incidents
  • Night work, manual labor, and operation of snowmaking systems across Mt Buller

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in snowmaking or other ski area roles
  • A high level of safety awareness
  • Ability to work outdoors in different weather extremes while maintaining a friendly disposition
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous skiing/snowboarding experience is an advantage but not essential
  • Proven experience in guest service industries
  • Computer skills, electronics skills, or trade background (an advantage)
  • Valid current driver's license
  • Enthusiasm, motivation, and teamwork
