About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Melaleuca Therapies in Nhulunbuy, Northern Territory. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, culturally sensitive, and effective occupational therapy assessment and intervention with a paediatric caseload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention with a paediatric caseload.
  • Prepare professional reports for a range of service providers.
  • Ensure clinical accountability through the use of information systems and accurate statistics.
  • Maintain professional knowledge and skills through supervision and professional development.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through collaborative behaviour.
  • Adhere to work, health, and safety practices and company policies.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver across a complex workload.
  • Demonstrated ability working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel to remote communities and stay on community for short periods.
  • National police check, Working with Children check, and current driver's licence.
