We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Melaleuca Therapies in Nhulunbuy, Northern Territory. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, culturally sensitive, and effective occupational therapy assessment and intervention with a paediatric caseload.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention with a paediatric caseload.
- Prepare professional reports for a range of service providers.
- Ensure clinical accountability through the use of information systems and accurate statistics.
- Maintain professional knowledge and skills through supervision and professional development.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through collaborative behaviour.
- Adhere to work, health, and safety practices and company policies.
- Qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Proven ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver across a complex workload.
- Demonstrated ability working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel to remote communities and stay on community for short periods.
- National police check, Working with Children check, and current driver's licence.
